We are currently being impacted by an unprecedented situation in the wake of COVID-19 and the entire world is fighting this pandemic phenomenon with collective efforts. Though the rampant spread of coronavirus has created an alarming situation, our determination to serve humanity remains resolute and strong. It is a matter of great pride that Bhagirath Sewa Sansthan has been able to cope with the situation with immense resilience and persistence and working in the areas which are of deepest concern for the welfare of the society. It promotes effective, practical, and sustainable plans, programs, and projects in some significant areas like Education for All, Health Care for All, and Social Sector. The Welfare activities are being rendered to all categories of people of the society in all possible forms and manners to improve the economic condition of the people of society.

Sansthan has been closely monitoring the situation and initiated the protective steps to deal with it. It caters to basic education to higher education without any discrimination, with quality and excellence. Our affiliation with the National Institute of Open Schooling is providing education to all segments of the society under the motive to increase literacy and aimed forward for flexible working and it has now the status of Nodal Centre as well as study Centre. Besides special education for differently-abled children, tireless efforts, are being taken to make them self-reliant, self-confident and to empower them subsequently developing independent living skills. Kamkus College of Special Education a new set-up has started functioning with 25 seats in each in two years diploma courses in MR and ASD. Our Kamkus College of Law has been providing a great opportunity to students for achieving higher standards.

Old Age Home run and managed by Sansthan is rendering philanthropic and welfare services to elderly persons. Senior citizens are provided rehabilitation and resettlement. Community-based voluntary social health services are also being provided to them. Yoga and naturopathy have been introduced in the center to ensure holistic -well-being.

Health for all is another major concern where the Sansthan is taking all necessary steps. Yoga, meditation, Anapana exercises organized by Sansthan resulting in proper and effective utilization of time during the pandemic. Naturopathy undertaken by clients undergoing treatment in Kamkus Drug De-addiction & Rehabilitation Centre has resulted in their better action and speed, improvement in existing capacity, knowledge, skills, talents, and confidence.

I hope and pray that everyone will stay safe and healthy during this pandemic. This challenging time will pass away very soon and our tenacity and perseverance will always be remembered. Sansthan is assuring humanity to deliver more and more services in the future.
